As so often, Shakespeare said it best: “Uneasy lies the head that wears a crown” (Henry IV, Part 2, Act 3, Scene 1, Line 31). The Bard was referring to the weighty responsibilities that burden any leader, but in the case of reigning BWL Champion Megan Maloney, it’s the onus of insecurities and self-doubt. Even after her recent triumph over Luscious Louise on her first TDC as defending Champ, Megan‘s sleep is disturbed by more tossing and turning than she suffered during that bout.
Megan doesn’t wash her makeup off for bed! That’s terrible for her complexion!
Now, I may be biased, since Megan is my favorite character, but I truly do think that this is the best thing I’ve ever read on this site. I was truly blow away!
The dream is a great conceit to explore Megan interacting with the other girls in a way she’d never indulge in real life…and indeed their cooperation is also something that wouldn’t happen in real life. I love that you made full use of the format to give us some insight into Megan’s inner turmoil and her struggle with her changing identity and evolving sexuality.
In particular, I found Sophie’s comments the most interesting because, within the conceit of the dream, these comments do not express Sophie’s wishes or opinions, but Megan’s own subconcious desires and thoughts. Somewhere deep down Megan believes that her breasts are slightly bigger and sexier than France’s, and she’s also incredibly proud of her chest, as Sophie refers to it as the “Best Bust in Canada”, which actually reflects Megan’s own opinion of herself. She’s humble about her bust on the surface, but underneath it all, she’s actually really competitive about her big boobs, particularly in relation to France’s own jiggling juggernauts. Not only that, though, but Megan also seems to have a particular fetish attached to her breasts when Sophie refers to having a milking contest. Megan’s a really dirty girl underneath it all…I LOVE it! ^_~
You guys really thought this out…it hit every beat I could have hoped for, and gave some deep insight into Megan’s continuing evolution. I can’t wait to see what happens next!
Also, thank you for the shout out…I appreciate it greatly.
Chazlamborghini, you’re a disturbed individual 🙂
Fore, thanks for the inspiration on this one. What you do on http://basementbookshelf.blogspot.com/ really helped with this one!
I’m off to bed now. And I don’t wear makeup, so don’t worry, Chaz!
Thank heavens, I was worried sick!
One of the best updates I’ve read on this site I was supprised by the lack of France in the dream though
This was a great story!!! Truly the best character development piece I seen on the site. Great collaboration work on this one guys!!
