This has been a long time cumming (bong!), and I was happy to see this plot thread finally pay off…and in dividends!
Megan takes a lot of flack for being a ‘hypocrite’, but that’s what makes her character interesting…the internal struggle against her prudish upbringing and her sexual awakening since joining the BWL. Story grows from conflict, and unlike most all of the other BWL characters, who have a pretty solid idea of who they are and what they believe, Megan does NOT know who she is and is finding her beliefs challenged; this is compelling.
On top of this compelling exploration of character there are also aspects of kink being explored here that I like…Megan’s financial domination of Cindy is very kiny; the beat with her refusing to acknowledge Cindy by her real name is so subtly dehumanizing, and her insistance that Cindy ‘work’ for her money, demonstrating the unspoken power she has over her is very erotic. This is the kind of stuff I love seeing on the BSF, and sometimes miss since the site changed it’s focus from more character driven and kinky sex stories to more direct sexual competition, but it makes it so much sweeter when these stories pop up.
I also appreciate the novelty of tranforming this into a contest between them with effective stakes, and how this ties back into the currently running TITFIGHT TOURNAMENT arc on the BWL! In true comic book fashion, I love it when the sites do crossovers that add suspense and sudden twists, building up to an event on the other site.
This was a particularly novel way of introducing Megan to the Titfight tournament in a way that makes sense to her character but also allows for her character and her conflict/relationship with Cindy to advance. Overall, there is a lot of smart writing here, and I am excited to see how this pays off this week on the BWL!
Also always worth mentioning is how great the art is! There are such subtle things that Entropy does that help to sell the eroticism of his stories…such as Image 08; the way he sell the heaviness and volume of Cindy’s breasts where by slightly offsetting them from her clavicle is so subtle but so erotic…it’s attention to details like this that make Entropy not only a great storyteller, but a great visual storyteller!
