11 throughts on "Quality Control"

  1. Damn! I hate when that happens.
It’s fixed now, so you can go ahead and get the zip!
    Thanks for letting me know!

    1. Right now, I have no plan either way. Of course, if members like her, I have a tendency to do what pleases my members…

  2. If Hugo Willis is ever looking for some “quality control” for the No Holds Bar, I think she is the person to call.

  3. Cindy is always the best, but to see the hot bystander from Four Wheel Sex Drive sexfighting her? I’ll certainly have a new favorite story for the forseeable future.

  4. I thoroughly enjoyed this!

Once again, the BXS shows the strengths of it’s narrative freedom, offering up both a nice character piece for Cindy, exploring her role as an escort, but also novelty in the appearance of Yasmine.

Whether or not Yasmine ever returns to the BXS as a recurring character (which would be welcome), in this particular story she represents something far greater than one new character, as evidenced by Cindy’s own musings; she represents the greater world that the BWL/BXS inhabit.

In narrative, World Building refers not to the world itself, but rather the world of the story; the BWL/BXS is that world to us, the reader. And in that world we have a heirachy, and clearly established rules and tropes. Novelty can come from upsetting that world, which is what Yasmine does. As an impassionless sex-robot that so easily challenges and defeats Cindy, seeding doubt in her (one of my favorite tropes of the BWL/BXS…defeat is never just physical but emotional, and carries a great toll, causing doubt and reflection, challenging character and encouraging growth), Yasmine represents a challenge to the belief that we, the reader, had that the women of the BWL/BXS were the greatest sexual combatants in this world. As Cindy muses, “Maybe there are more like her…”

Much like other characters that have come from outside the BWL/BXS (Megan, Melanie, MacKenzie, Ashley, Desiree, etc) Yasmine is an outsider and an invader. She challenges the readers understanding of the world and it’s rules, and this creates novelty, and novelty is interesting because it’s something new and unexpected.

This was an all around excellent piece of world, both artistically and narratively! I love it when Entropy and Sherlock experiment and take chances, producing more complex and challenging narratives that explore character or have a novel approach to the genre they’ve created.

    Keep up the great work!

  5. This was a very well put together story. I agree with ForeShadow that it certainly helps remind the girls (and us) that there’s a whole world outside of the BSF. I like it when this world is explored from time to time, it’s a healthy deviation from the norm, and allows you to stretch your creative legs without blowing the work you’ve done building these already established characters.

I personally, would love to see Yasmine return in the future. Perhaps during the band’s next tour, or during the band’s time off when she’s allowed to seek out her own enjoyment.

Whether she returns or not, I very much have enjoyed where the BSF/BWL have gone over the last 6-9 months. Excellent work!
