I work on two computers at the same time so, one consequence is that I need a “mirror image” of my hard drive on the second computer. This automatically creates a backup!
Also, I have what it takes to plug into a SATA drive and connect it on a USB. So even if the Windows installation won’t start, the documents are still on the hard drive. Meaning if you plug the drive without having to booth from it, you can get the documents out of it.
Long story short, it took forever, but as of next Tuesday, I’ll have a new computer up and running (I’m waiting for one gizmo from Amazon).
