Desiree Challenges Jolene for the BSF Belt

BSF-303_CoverTwo weeks ago, BSF Champion Jolene tried to stop Desiree’s fiancé from buying the No Holds Bar by facing her in a sexfight—that she lost. So while the fiancé goes ahead to wrap up the final details on the transaction, Desiree challenges the BSF Champion, for her Title this time.

3 throughts on "Desiree Challenges Jolene for the BSF Belt"

  1. You know its funny how at first I was hoping that Jolene would have a decent title run (seeing is how the last two champions only lasted a few weeks) but now over a year later and I’m starting to wonder if anyone can beat her.

I mean OK yes she has lost before but it seems that whenever she gets on that stage she becomes invincible but I guess the higher her status gets the bigger her fall will be.

  2. I have been greatly enjoying the Desiree story-arc. She makes a great villain, and I love the work that’s gone into building her character, and how you’ve make vanity her defining trait…from that first time she came onstage after winning the bar, with the giant picture of herself, having turned the No Hold’s Bar into a towering monument to herself, and using it to further her own reputation…it’s all great stuff!

My one fear though is that she stands alone. It’s her versus everyone else in the league…and as antagonistic as they may be (this is a site about competition after all), they are at least united against her. In order for the No Hold’s Bar to be successful, she needs people to compete against, and given her interference, the No Hold’s Bar s becoming a toxic environment…what’s to stop them from just not competing?

I think that Desiree needs to form a team of some sort, or at least get some people on her side philosophically…for example, maybe gathering up the League’s outsiders. Jenn, for example, might be receptive to Desiree…they have a lot in common. MacKenzie still has a grudge against Tania, so she’s be receptive to Desiree, etc etc. I like the idea of having a philosophical split in the League, which could lead to a bigger story-arc between those who remain loyal to Tania, and those who support Desiree as the new management. Desiree controls the venue for the BSF, what if her next goal is to control the BSF? I like the idea of a hostile takeover, and you’ve already planted to seeds for it in the original No Hold’s Bar story arc between her and Tania.

    Just some thoughts!

  3. I’d love this to develop a split among the girls so we can have rival stables…both bsf and bxl.

If Desiree is the perceived villain (tho tbh Tania is no angel) then I’d like to see Mimi and Caribe as her bodyguards so to speak…Mimi could do the ‘Medusa’ route (when she left wwe and joined wcw) and take the title to the ‘other’ camp to create a new title. Desiree goes for muscle to win the bxl perhaps adding a few disaffected girls along the way like Jenn. Regine recently noted Caribe was training somewhere unknown maybe Desiree’s facilities kitted out to cause trouble?

As for Mack I’d quite like her to be approached, but against expectation remain loyal to the older league, perhaps enjoying proving herself invaluable to Tania and nabbing the title back.

The fights can spread to different venues alternating between clubs. Although it is no doubt a technical challenge it would also be cool to start a tag division and rival stables is a perfect launch pad.
